Aamir does demand the moon for his roles in his movies but it’s never about money and as far as the money is concerned then it’s all about the common agreement. Yes you would be surprised to know that Mr. Perfectionist doesn’t charge a single penny to begin with, like all other Bollywood celebs. While addressing the press on his birthday on March 14 at his Mumbai residence, he dispensed the fact, thereby, adding another subject of discussion on the trends list on Thursday.
“Actually I don’t charge a fee. People don’t know that but it has been years since I have stopped charging a fee,” Aamir said, reports news agency IANS.
As we know that Aamir comes into sight on the celluloid very occasionally, at least once in a year but that one film is more than enough as he gets outstanding love for his mastery in acting, effective roles and unique conceptualize storyline of the movie.
But then there’s a new question which tickles our minds, How does Aamir make up for it if he doesn’t charge a fee? Mr. Khan’s answer to this question was, “If the film makes less money, I make less money, and if the film makes more money, I make more money.”
On the work front, his films such as PK, Dangal and Secret Superstar were declared blockbusters in India within a week of their release and received unprecedented attention in China as well. Dangal, which cast Aamir as wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, had a huge earnings worldwide as it made over Rs 1000 crore in China where as Secret Superstar, starring Dangal actress Zaira Wasim in the lead role, raked in 874 crores at the Chinese box office.
When this matter was discussed the superstar added his point of view by saying, “I think India has as big a potential as China. I just feel that China has done major investment in the entertainment industry and its administration is also supportive. They have built up a lot of screens, and that is why the business has gone up.”
Aamir was busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie Thugs Of Hindostan in Jodhpur but returned back to Mumbai to spend some quality time with family. The actor was in news when Kiran Rao gave a warm kiss to him in airport after meeting him for his birthday. They even cut the birthday cake in the presence of Media at his Mumbai residence.
Aamir Khan, last seen in a cameo in Secret Superstar, will feature in Thugs Of Hindostan with Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
