King Khan in 2k18

Bollywood had given us so many indelible movies and a huge bevy of talented celebs. Yet when people all over the world hear the word ‘Bollywood’ the first name that crack into their mind is The ‘Shah Rukh Khan’.

The heart throber ‘King Khan’ has made it directly into millions of hearts just with his cute dimpled smile, intense eyes and breathtaking acting skills. Starting from Deewana to Darr then Bazigar, Anjaam, Dill wale dulhaniya le jayenge, Dill to pagal hai, Kuch kuch hota hai, Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum, Devdas, Swadesh, Chak De India, My name is khan, Chennai Express, Happy new year, Dilwale, Raees and Harry met sejal… He has just improved and improved and improved. (Being a bollywood buff is not so easy though)

The ‘Badshah of Bollywood’ stood that night on that footpath with 50 ruppees in his pocket and had a dream to rule the bollywood. And that’s exactly what he is doing isn’ t it fellas?

Coming to the work front, he was last seen in Harry Met Sejal with the bubblious Anushka Sharma. The movie helmed by Imtiaz Ali had an huge opening with Rs. 15.25 crore on 4th August last year and soon became the second highest overseas grosser with US$ 10 million leaving behind Raees.

Now let’s see what does he has for us in his store this year.

Zero : Zero is making a lot of buzz since  it’s title has being announced… The most unusual story of a dwarf and two lady love is helmed by Anand L Rai. With an ensemble of A-list superstars and interesting story, this film shows a lot of promise. Only time will tell if it can deliver on it though. Zero will hit the theatres on December 21, 2018.

Salute (Not Confirmed) : The story on the life of Air Force pilot Rakesh Sharma, who went on to become the first Indian to travel to space will be helmed by Mahesh Mathai. The role was first offered to Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan but as he was busy with Thugs of Hindostan, King Khan was approached for the same.  SRK is expected to start shooting for the film’s first schedule in September this year. It will definitely be interesting to see the actor bring this story to life on the big screen.

While there is no other project of Badshah coming up this year but according to some rumours he might be seen in the third franchise of Don by Farhan Akhtar next year.
